Supported browsers
Push uses the Web Push standard, so it works wherever the browser vendor runs a push service. Here is what each browser needs.

Instagram · Facebook · TikTok · X · LinkedIn
and other in-app browsers
Links opened inside social apps run in a limited browser without push. Open the link in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge instead.
WebView
Android WebView · embedded browsers
Embedded web views cannot register for push. The person needs to open the link in a full browser.
When the browser is closed
On Android, iOS Home Screen apps and macOS Safari, notifications arrive even when the browser is closed. Desktop Chrome, Edge and Firefox show them only while the browser process runs; anything sent while it is closed waits at the push service until the browser starts or the TTL runs out.
Why an accepted notification may not show
- Do Not Disturb or a Focus mode is on.
- The operating system has notifications turned off for the browser (macOS System Settings › Notifications, Windows Settings › System › Notifications, Android app settings).
- Notifications were blocked for meslzy.com in the browser’s site settings.
- The browser groups or quiets notifications from sites it thinks are noisy.
